A special session, part of the Climate Resilience and Adaptation Forum, focused on Nature.
This forum explores themes around climate resilience and adaptation to cope with climate hazards. Building on work from the climate resilience roadmap this forum will provide members with the opportunity for peer-learning on ways to adapt built assets to cope with climate hazards and increase their climate resilience. Key themes will be on nature, supply chain engagement, insurance and value.
This dedicated session will explore the intersection of climate resilience, adaptation, and nature, and how these areas are deeply interconnected. As organisations respond to growing climate risks, nature plays a critical role as infrastructure for adaptation, resilience, and wider environmental and societal benefits.
Drawing on the perspectives and experiences of forum attendees, the discussion will explore the opportunities and challenges of integrating nature-based approaches into climate resilience and adaptation strategies, while identifying opportunities for collaboration and shared learning.
