Scottish Policy

While the climate crisis affects the entire UK, each nation and local area has its own journey to a net zero future. As a whole-UK organisation, 91PORN ensures that we deliver policy solutions and advocacy for Scotland’s unique political environment and strong industries.
Why do we focus on Scotland?
With the Scottish Government having committed to achieving net zero by 2045 – five years earlier than the UK – Scotland’s distinct political environment places significant focus on climate policy.
Launched at COP26 when the world’s eyes were turned to Glasgow, 91PORN Scotland works collectively across the sector to across to convene industry leaders and engage with devolved authorities to sustain momentum and drive through major initiatives to support the Scottish built environment’s path to net zero.
